Easter Monday 9the April 2012 – Google honors the pioneer of photography Eadweard James Muybridge with a nice doodle. It is an animation and you have to start it by clicking on the „Play“ Button in the center. It shows a „Galloping horse“ set to motion using single photos. 21 horses, some are colored like the google logo. Eadweard Muybridge is known for his pioneering work on animal locomotion which used multiple cameras to capture motion. The Doodle based an an original sequence by Eadweard J. Muybridge. Looks in my eyes like an amazing piece of old fashiened pop art :-)
Here a video of the Muybridge-doodle :-)
